I am currently working out of Thousand Cranes Tattoo Studio in San Jose, CA.

If you haven't already, please take a look at my collection of digital and traditional works. You will be able to see examples of what type of ink work I am most interested in. Additionally check out my FAQ for information about appointment structure, accessibility, and aftercare.

I am currently interested in taking on the following project types:

✿ Large-scale illustrative scenes

✿ Scientific illustration and field guide sketching

✿ Dot work pieces

✿ Flora & fauna

✿ Shiny chrome

✿ Flash seen on my available artwork page and posted to my social media

✿ Traditional and contemporary Palauan and Micronesian tattoo

If you're not completely sure what type of work you're interested in yet, that's okay! Feel free to send a booking request with as much information as you are able to provide and I will reach out if I believe I am the best fit for your needs.

Work I am not interested in:

  • Symbols, phrases, or words that are rooted in racism, sexism, transphobia, xenophobia, or any other hateful or discriminatory origins

  • Script in languages that neither you nor I are capable of speaking, reading, or writing

  • Artwork by other artists (unless permission has been explicitly given)

  • Realism

  • Areas including: neck, ear, face, genitals or feet

Rates.

What are your Rates?

$200/hr with a 1 hour minimum for all custom designs. I  require a $100 non-refundable deposit per session at the time of booking, which will go toward the total cost of your tattoo. Some designs such as those on flash sheets may have set or discounted rates. Working within a client’s budget and aligning our expectations is very important to me. In some cases I may offer “fixed” rate pricing for large scale or multi-day appointments, this allows us to move at a pace that feels comfortable without the stress of a fluctuating price. Full day and multi-day sessions will have an adjusted deposit rate.

Should I tip/are tips standard?

Tipping in the tattoo industry is similar to any other customer service based industry. It is typical to tip anywhere from 10%-20%, but is never required nor expected. Most tattoo artists pay anywhere from 30%-50% of their hourly rate to the shop they work in, and are responsible for supplying their own inks, needles, and tattoo machine supplies. 100% of tips go to the artist and are a great way to show your appreciation for the art and experience your artist gives you. Other offerings such as trades for service and personalized gifts are always appreciated as well!
